Letterman on McCain

"What are you going to do if you're elected and things get tough? Suspend being president? We've got a guy like that now!"

Wow. Hell hath no fury.

I wish I liked Letterman, he's babbling here like an idiot and Paul's no help...

I know he's got to make up the time due to the bailout but this was pitiful.

I actually like Letterman-I wish I had seen the actual show. I just wonder what the motivation is for McCain's bail here? Is it the numbers or is it to delay to prepare more for the debate, or is to garner (as Fox/Bill O/Dick M) said to be the hero with the bailout? Who knows?

Dave was pissed off - royally so - and he had every right to be. McBush wasn't off to Washington DC, he was talking to Couric or whoever, right there in NYC. He flat-out lied to Dave! Olbermann featured most of what Dave had to say about it (because he was the fill-in guest) and I can tell you that Letterman was as livid as I've ever seen him.

He got dissed, pure and simple, for who knows what reason. Another bout of poor decision-making on McBush's part. Nothing new there.
